Delicious smoothie with banana, coffee and oat flakes
It belongs to the morning like salt to pepper: coffee. A few sips of the “black gold” and dark circles and tired yawns disappear. Another and somewhat healthier alternative for the perfect start to the day are the increasingly popular smoothies. What if you just combined the two? The answer is easy: the tastiest breakfast ever!
For this you need:
- 250 ml strong coffee
- 1 banana
- 20 g of oatmeal
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 250 ml milk, alternatively soy milk or almond milk
- 1 teaspoon honey
That is how it goes:
1. Brew the coffee, let it cool, and then place it in an ice cube tray that you freeze.
2. As soon as the coffee is frozen, you simply put all the remaining ingredients in a blender. Then there are the coffee ice cubes. Mix the ingredients together until they form an even mass. Pour the smoothie into a glass and garnish with whipped cream and some chocolate powder. You are done already!
You have to be patient until the coffee is frozen, but luckily the recipe is otherwise a breeze. Of course, you can also prepare the smoothie with just chilled coffee. But right now, in midsummer, an ice-cold coffee smoothie is a really delicious refreshment.
